BMFA UPDATE PLEASE Read

By | January 19, 2020

Dear BMFA Member

CAA Registration

CAA Operator ID registration numbers for those who register with the CAA through the BMFA will be emailed directly from the CAA early in February. You are exempt from the requirement to have one up to that point as a BMFA member. Your CAA registration will last for 12 months from when your Operator ID arrives, your Operator ID is the number you should display on your aircraft.

*****It is very important that you ensure your details are correct on your profile on the BMFA membership portal. Please ensure that your first name is in full and not just an initial or nickname, it should match what is on your passport/driving licence etc. Also it is very important that your date of birth is correct as the CAA use these details for id verification.

See https://rcc.bmfa.uk/caa-registration/dmares-quick-start-guide for further details.

Plastic Membership Cards

There has been a slight delay in producing the optional plastic membership cards, we apologise for this delay. The cards are now being printed from Monday 20th January and will be with you shortly afterwards.

Please ensure your name and address details are correct and your achievements (including the RCC) are up to date on your membership profile as the information for the first batch of cards cannot be updated after 20th January.

To update your details log in to the membership portal at https://bmfa.azolve.com then click on “My Profile” from the green menu across the top, then click on “Update Details”, don’t forget to click on Save when you have finished.

Kind Regards
