Roll and Limbo

The tape will be supported by a pole on each side of the runway. (Audio / video cassette tape or similar.)

The starting height of the tape will be 6 Feet and the tape will be lowered by 1 foot for every round flown.

  1. For each round the pilot must take off and complete one circuit overflying the target area.

(For trimming & lining up purposes.)

  1. Prior to flying under the limbo, the airplane must perform a roll.

  1. In each round each contestant will be required to attempt to fly their model under the tape without it breaking the tape or touching the supporting poles or the ground. If they are successful, they proceed to the next round.

  1. Each remaining contestant takes turns to fly their model under the tape at the new height until only one successful contestant remains and they will be declared the winner.

  1. A valid attempt consists at minimum of a take-off, a circuit overflying the runway / limbo assembly followed by a circuit incorporating a roll and then flying under the tape followed by a circuit and a successful landing.

2 passes at the limbo are allowed in each attempt but a roll must be incorporated in each circuit.

Come and join in, it will be great fun
